Chris Meglin When Chris isn’t listening to and talking about rock music to radio audiences, he’s most likely broadcasting live in room 219 to 80 students enrolled in his high school English III or Mass Communication class in North Carolina. This doesn’t explain how his life in the south still reveals a tinge of an accent from the north. That’s because he’s a native New Yorker, who at 25 first went west to L.A., worked at a rock station, a radio syndication company, and The Academy of Radio Broadcasting there before moving back to the east side of the U.S. Only this time, he firmly planted himself in Durham to teach high-schoolers the benefits obtained from a Liberal Arts education. He solemnly promises not to grade essays during his on air shift inside Hall of Fame Music Radio’s studios.
